| In late 2001, beHosting brought two new front-line tech support staff on board. Last year, we added a third. During the summer of 2004, we migrated our old help desk system into a newer, easier-to-use system. Direct emails to Erica rarely get seen, as she receives in excess of (Well, we'll let your imagination run wild here!) emails per day. We have posted in numerous places throughout the site and via direct communication (emails, voicemail message) that the fastest way to get help is to use our help desk. If you send a direct email to Erica, expect 1-2 WEEKS to get a reply. Because spammers try to use common sense email addresses, the "supportATbehosting.com" mailbox has been discontinued. Direct emails to supportATbehosting.com will not be seen. Why is this a knowledgebase article? Because so many people say "I asked nn days ago about this and did not receive a reply". When asked, they admit they are not using the help desk, but are sending requests directly to other email addresses. We feel it's important that people understand that if you need help, you need to use the help desk. Average response time is almose immediate during normal business hours, and within a couple of hours after normal business hours. |
